کُنۡتُمۡ خَیۡرَ اُمَّۃٍ اُخۡرِجَتۡ لِلنَّاسِ تَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَ تَنۡہَوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمُنۡکَرِ وَ تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ ؕ وَ لَوۡ اٰمَنَ اَہۡلُ الۡکِتٰبِ لَکَانَ خَیۡرًا لَّہُمۡ ؕ مِنۡہُمُ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ وَ اَکۡثَرُہُمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۰﴾

110. تم بہترین اُمّت ہو جو سب لوگوں (کی رہنمائی) کے لئے ظاہر کی گئی ہے، تم بھلائی کا حکم دیتے ہو اور برائی سے منع کرتے ہو اور اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہو، اور اگر اہلِ کتاب بھی ایمان لے آتے تو یقیناً ان کے لئے بہتر ہوتا، ان میں سے کچھ ایمان والے بھی ہیں اور ان میں سے اکثر نافرمان ہیںo

110. You are the best nation (ever) brought forth for (the guidance of) humankind: you enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have certainly been better for them. Few of them are (true) believers, and most of them are evil-doers.

110. You are the best community brought forth for (the guidance of) mankind: you enjoin righteousness, forbid evil and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book also embraced faith, that would certainly have been in their favour. There are some amongst them who believe, whilst the majority of them are disobedient.

110. Kuntum khayra ommatin okhrijat lilnnasi tamuroona bialmaAAroofi watanhawna AAani almunkari watuminoona biAllahi walaw amana ahlu alkitabi lakana khayran lahum minhumu almuminoona waaktharuhumu alfasiqoona

110. Dere er det beste samfunnet som er blitt brakt fram for (rettledningen av) menneskeheten: Dere påbyr det rette og forbyr det urette og tror på Allah. Og hvis skriftens folk også hadde antatt troen, hadde det visselig vært bedre for dem. Det er noen blant dem som tror, mens de fleste av dem er ulydige.

110. तुम बेहतरीन उम्मत हो जो सब लोगों (की रह्‌नुमाई) के लिए ज़ाहिर की गई है, तुम भलाई का हुक्म देते हो और बुराई से मना करते हो और अल्लाह पर ईमान रखते हो, और अगर अहले किताब भी ईमान ले आते तो यक़ीनन उनके लिए बेह्‌तर होता, उनमें से कुछ ईमान वाले भी हैं और उनमें से अक्सर ना फरमान हैं।

১১০. তোমরাই উৎকৃষ্ট জাতি, মানবজাতির (পথ প্রদর্শনের) জন্যে যাদের উদ্ভব ঘটানো হয়েছে, তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দিচ্ছো, আর মন্দ কাজে নিষেধ করছো এবং আল্লাহ্তে ঈমান রাখছো। আর যদি আহলে কিতাবও ঈমান আনয়ন করতো, তবে তা অবশ্যই তাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর হতো। তাদের মাঝে কিছু ঈমানদারও রয়েছে, তবে তাদের অধিকাংশই নাফরমান।

لَنۡ یَّضُرُّوۡکُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اَذًی ؕ وَ اِنۡ یُّقَاتِلُوۡکُمۡ یُوَلُّوۡکُمُ الۡاَدۡبَارَ ۟ ثُمَّ لَا یُنۡصَرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۱﴾

111. یہ لوگ ستانے کے سوا تمہارا کچھ نہیں بگاڑ سکیں گے، اور اگر یہ تم سے جنگ کریں تو تمہارے سامنے پیٹھ پھیر جائیں گے، پھر ان کی مدد (بھی) نہیں کی جائے گےo

111. They will never do you much harm except hurting a little. If they fight you, they will turn their backs (to flee) and will not be helped.

111. They cannot do you any harm beyond offending; and if they fight you, they will turn their backs upon you; then they will not be helped (as well).

111. Lan yadurrookum illa athan wain yuqatilookum yuwallookumu aladbara thumma la yunsaroona

111. De kan ikke gjøre dere noen skade bortsett fra å fornærme, og hvis de kjemper mot dere, vil de vende ryggen til, deretter vil de ikke bli hjulpet.

111. ये लोग सताने के सिवा तुम्हारा कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकेंगे और अगर ये तुम से जंग करें तो तुम्हारे सामने पीठ फेर जाएंगे, फिर उनकी मदद (भी) नहीं की जाएगी।

১১১. সামান্য কষ্ট দেয়া ছাড়া এসব লোকেরা তোমাদের কোনো ক্ষতিই করতে পারবে না। আর যদি এরা তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে তবে তারা তোমাদের থেকে পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে, তারপর তারা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্তও হবে না।

ضُرِبَتۡ عَلَیۡہِمُ الذِّلَّۃُ اَیۡنَ مَا ثُقِفُوۡۤا اِلَّا بِحَبۡلٍ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ وَ حَبۡلٍ مِّنَ النَّاسِ وَ بَآءُوۡ بِغَضَبٍ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ وَ ضُرِبَتۡ عَلَیۡہِمُ الۡمَسۡکَنَۃُ ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا یَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَ یَقۡتُلُوۡنَ الۡاَنۡۢبِیَآءَ بِغَیۡرِ حَقٍّ ؕ ذٰلِکَ بِمَا عَصَوۡا وَّ کَانُوۡا یَعۡتَدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۲﴾٭

112. وہ جہاں کہیں بھی پائے جائیں ان پر ذلّت مسلط کر دی گئی ہے سوائے اس کے کہ انہیں کہیں اللہ کے عہد سے یا لوگوں کے عہد سے (پناہ دے دی جائے) اور وہ اللہ کے غضب کے سزاوار ہوئے ہیں اور ان پر محتاجی مسلط کی گئی ہے، یہ اس لئے کہ وہ اللہ کی آیتوں کا انکار کرتے تھے اور انبیاء کو ناحق قتل کرتے تھے، کیونکہ وہ نافرمان ہو گئے تھے اور (سرکشی میں) حد سے بڑھ گئے تھےo

112. They will be stricken with disgrace wherever confronted unless (they are provided asylum) under some covenant from Allah or the people. They have incurred Allah’s wrath and have been subjected to poverty. That is because they would persistently disbelieve in Allah’s revelations and kill the prophets wrongly. That is because they acted rebelliously and used to commit transgression.

112. They are shut in humiliation wherever they may be found, except that they are (provided with shelter) under some promise with Allah or some bond with people. And they have earned Allah’s wrath, and have been subjected to indigence consequent on their rejection of Allah’s revelations and killing the Prophets unjustly, because they turned into rebels and exceeded all limits (in defiance).

112. Duribat AAalayhimu alththillatu ayna ma thuqifoo illa bihablin mina Allahi wahablin mina alnnasi wabaoo bighadabin mina Allahi waduribat AAalayhimu almaskanatu thalika biannahum kanoo yakfuroona biayati Allahi wayaqtuloona alanbiyaa bighayri haqqin thalika bima AAasaw wakanoo yaAAtadoona

112. Hvor de enn finnes, rammes de av ydmykelser med mindre de blir (gitt ly) under et løfte fra Allah eller et løfte fra folk. Og de har gjort seg fortjent til Allahs vrede, og fattigdom er satt over dem. Dette fordi de fornektet Allahs åpenbaringer og drepte profetene i urett, og fordi de var blitt oppsetsige og overtrådte alle grenser.

112. वोह जहां कहीं भी पाए जाएं उन पर ज़िल्लत मुसल्लत कर दी गई है सिवाए इसके कि उन्हें कहीं अल्लाह के अ़हद से या लोगों के अ़हद से (पनाह दे दी जाए) और वोह अल्लाह के ग़ज़ब के सज़ावार हुए हैं और उन पर मोहताजी मुसल्लत की गई है, ये इसलिए कि वोह अल्लाह की आयतों का इन्कार करते थे और अम्बिया को नाहक़्क़ क़त्ल करते थे, क्यों कि वोह नाफरमान हो गए थे और (सर्कशी में) हद से बढ़ गए थे।

১১২. আল্লাহ্‌র প্রতিশ্রুতি কিংবা মানুষের প্রতিশ্রুতির (মাধ্যমে আশ্রয়ের) বাইরে তাদেরকে যেখানেই পাওয়া গিয়েছে সেখানেই তাদের উপর লাঞ্ছনা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর তারা আল্লাহ্‌র ক্রোধের পাত্র হয়েছে এবং তাদের উপর দারিদ্রতা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। তা এ কারণে যে, তারা আল্লাহ্‌র আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করতো এবং অন্যায়ভাবে নবীগণকে হত্যা করতো; তা এ কারণে যে, তারা অবাধ্য হয়েছিল এবং (তাতে) সীমালঙ্ঘন করেছিল।

لَیۡسُوۡا سَوَآءً ؕ مِنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ اُمَّۃٌ قَآئِمَۃٌ یَّتۡلُوۡنَ اٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ اٰنَآءَ الَّیۡلِ وَ ہُمۡ یَسۡجُدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۳﴾

113. یہ سب برابر نہیں ہیں، اہلِ کتاب میں سے کچھ لوگ حق پر (بھی) قائم ہیں وہ رات کی ساعتوں میں اللہ کی آیات کی تلاوت کرتے ہیں اور سر بسجود رہتے ہیںo

113. Yet they are not all alike. Among the People of the Book is an upright group; they recite Allah’s revelations during night hours while remaining in prostration (before their Lord).

113. They are not all alike. Some of the People of the Book are (also) firmly committed to the truth. They recite the Verses of Allah during the hours of night, and remain in the state of prostration before their Lord.

113. Laysoo sawaan min ahli alkitabi ommatun qaimatun yatloona ayati Allahi anaa allayli wahum yasjudoona

113. De er ikke alle like. Noen av skriftens folk er fast forpliktet til sannheten, de resiterer Allahs vers i nattetimene og forblir knelende med ansiktet ned i tilbedelse.

113. ये सब बराबर नहीं हैं, अह्‌ले किताब में से कुछ लोग हक़्क़ पर (भी) क़ाइम हैं वोह रात की साअ़तों में अल्लाह की आयात की तिलावत करते हैं और सर ब सुजूद रहते हैं।

১১৩. তারা সবাই একরকম নয়। আহলে কিতাবের মধ্যে সত্যের উপর অবিচল কিছু লোকও রয়েছে, তারা রাতের প্রহরে আল্লাহ্‌র আয়াতসমূহ তিলাওয়াত করে এবং সেজদারত থাকে।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 113)

یُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ الۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ وَ یَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَ یَنۡہَوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمُنۡکَرِ وَ یُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِی الۡخَیۡرٰتِ ؕ وَ اُولٰٓئِکَ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ ﴿۱۱۴﴾

114. وہ اللہ پر اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور بھلائی کا حکم دیتے ہیں اور برائی سے منع کرتے ہیں اور نیک کاموں میں تیزی سے بڑھتے ہیں، اور یہی لوگ نیکوکاروں میں سے ہیںo

114. They believe in Allah and the Last Day, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong and are prompt in (performing) good deeds. And they are among the righteous.

114. They believe in Allah and the Last Day and enjoin righteousness, and forbid evil, and they race to pious works. And it is they who are amongst the pious.

114. Yuminoona biAllahi waalyawmi alakhiri wayamuroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAani almunkari wayusariAAoona fee alkhayrati waolaika mina alssaliheena

114. De tror på Allah og på den ytterste dagen, og de påbyr det rette og forbyr det urette og skynder seg framrykkende i fromme handlinger. Og det er de som er av de rettskafne.

114. वोह अल्लाह पर और आख़िरत के दिन पर ईमान लाते हैं और भलाई का हुक्म देते हैं और बुराई से मना करते हैं और नेक कामों में तेज़ी से बढ़ते हैं, और येही लोग नेकूकारों में से हैं।

১১৪. তারা বিশ্বাস করে আল্লাহ্তে ও শেষদিবসে, সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দেয়, অসৎকাজে নিষেধ করে এবং সৎকর্মে দ্রুত অগ্রসর হয়। আর এরাই সৎকর্মশীলদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا لَنۡ تُغۡنِیَ عَنۡہُمۡ اَمۡوَالُہُمۡ وَ لَاۤ اَوۡلَادُہُمۡ مِّنَ اللّٰہِ شَیۡـًٔا ؕ وَ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ النَّارِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۶﴾

116. یقینا جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا ہے نہ ان کے مال انہیں اللہ (کے عذاب) سے کچھ بچا سکیں گے اور نہ ان کی اولاد، اور وہی لوگ جہنمی ہیں، جو اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گےo

116. As for the disbelievers, neither their resources nor their children will save them in the least from (the torment of) Allah. Those are the inhabitants of the Fire, and they shall remain in it forever.

116. Certainly, those who have disbelieved, neither their riches nor their children will provide them any protection against (the torment of) Allah. And they are the ones who are the inmates of Hell and will live there forever.

116. Inna allatheena kafaroo lan tughniya AAanhum amwaluhum wala awladuhum mina Allahi shayan waolaika ashabu alnnari hum feeha khalidoona

116. Visselig, de som har vist vantro, verken rikdommen deres eller barna deres vil gi dem noen beskyttelse mot Allah (Allahs pine) i det hele tatt. Og det er de som er helvetes beboere og vil leve i det for alltid.

116. यक़ीनन जिन लोगों ने कुफ्र किया है न उनके माल उन्हें अल्लाह (के अ़ज़ाब) से कुछ बचा सकेंगे और न उनकी औलाद, और वोही लोग जहन्नमी हैं, जो उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।

১১৬. নিশ্চয়ই যারা কুফরী করেছে, না তাদের সম্পদ তাদেরকে আল্লাহ্‌র (শাস্তির) প্রতিকূলে কোনোভাবে রক্ষা করতে পারবে, আর না তাদের সন্তান-সন্ততি। আর এরাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী, সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 116)

مَثَلُ مَا یُنۡفِقُوۡنَ فِیۡ ہٰذِہِ الۡحَیٰوۃِ الدُّنۡیَا کَمَثَلِ رِیۡحٍ فِیۡہَا صِرٌّ اَصَابَتۡ حَرۡثَ قَوۡمٍ ظَلَمُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ فَاَہۡلَکَتۡہُ ؕ وَ مَا ظَلَمَہُمُ اللّٰہُ وَ لٰکِنۡ اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ یَظۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۷﴾

117. (یہ لوگ) جو مال (بھی) اس دنیا کی زندگی میں خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کی مثال اس ہوا جیسی ہے جس میں سخت پالا ہو (اور) وہ ایسی قوم کی کھیتی پر جا پڑے جو اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتی ہو اور وہ اسے تباہ کر دے، اور اللہ نے ان پر کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے ہیںo

117. The example of what they spend in the life of this world is like a freezing wind which strikes the harvest of a people who wronged themselves, destroying it (altogether). Allah does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves.

117. (Whatever) wealth (these people) spend in the life of this world is like the frost-laden wind which strikes and destroys the harvest of a people who wrong their own souls. And Allah has not done them any wrong, but they have wronged their own selves.

117. Mathalu ma yunfiqoona fee hathihi alhayati alddunya kamathali reehin feeha sirrun asabat hartha qawmin thalamoo anfusahum faahlakathu wama thalamahumu Allahu walakin anfusahum yathlimoona

117. Hva disse (enn) bruker av velstand i jordelivet, er lik vinden lastet med frost som slår til og ødelegger åkrene til folk som gjør sin egen sjel ondt. Og Allah har ikke gjort dem noe ondt, derimot gjør de ondt mot sin egen sjel.

117. (ये लोग) जो माल (भी) इस दुन्या की ज़िंदगी में ख़र्च करते हैं उसकी मिसाल उस हवा जैसी है जिस में सख़्त पाला हो (और) वोह ऐसी क़ौम की खेती पर जा पड़े जो अपनी जानों पर जु़ल्म करती हो और वोह उसे तबाह कर दे, और अल्लाह ने उन पर कोई ज़ुल्म नहीं किया बल्कि वोह खु़द अपनी जानों पर ज़ुल्म करते हैं।

১১৭. পার্থিব জীবনে তারা যে সম্পদ ব্যয় করে তার দৃষ্টান্ত কঠিন হিমশীতল বায়ুর ন্যায়, যা নিজেদের জানের উপর যুলুমকারী সেসব লোকদের শস্যক্ষেতে গিয়ে আঘাত করে ও তা বিনষ্ট করে। আর আল্লাহ্ তাদের প্রতি কোনো যুলুম করেননি, বরং তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতি যুলুম করছে।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 117)

یٰۤاَیُّہَا الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡا بِطَانَۃً مِّنۡ دُوۡنِکُمۡ لَا یَاۡلُوۡنَکُمۡ خَبَالًا ؕ وَدُّوۡا مَا عَنِتُّمۡ ۚ قَدۡ بَدَتِ الۡبَغۡضَآءُ مِنۡ اَفۡوَاہِہِمۡ ۚۖ وَ مَا تُخۡفِیۡ صُدُوۡرُہُمۡ اَکۡبَرُ ؕ قَدۡ بَیَّنَّا لَکُمُ الۡاٰیٰتِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۱۸﴾

118. اے ایمان والو! تم غیروں کو (اپنا) راز دار نہ بناؤ وہ تمہاری نسبت فتنہ انگیزی میں (کبھی) کمی نہیں کریں گے، وہ تمہیں سخت تکلیف پہنچنے کی خواہش رکھتے ہیں، بغض تو ان کی زبانوں سے خود ظاہر ہو چکا ہے، اور جو (عداوت) ان کے سینوں نے چھپا رکھی ہے وہ اس سے (بھی) بڑھ کر ہے۔ ہم نے تمہارے لئے نشانیاں واضح کر دی ہیں اگر تمہیں عقل ہو o

118. O believers! Do not take (anyone) as an intimate friend besides yourselves. They will spare no effort to ruin you. They wish you to suffer. Severe hatred is already evident from the words in their mouths, but what their hearts conceal is far worse. We have indeed made the signs clear to you if (only) you understand.

118. O believers! Do not confide in those who are not from amongst you. They will never miss (any) chance to cause you mischief. They wish you severe torture. As for their malice, that has become evident from their utterances, and (the hostility) that they have concealed in their hearts is (even) greater. We have made the signs manifest to you if you would use your intellect.

118. Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la yaloonakum khabalan waddoo ma AAanittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu alayati in kuntum taAAqiloona

118. Å, dere troende! Lag ikke dem som ikke er av dere, til deres betrodde, de ville aldri ha latt en sjanse gå fra seg til å anstifte ufred blant dere, de ønsker dere smertelig lidelse. Noe er blitt åpenlyst ved tungene deres, og det (den fiendtligheten) som de har skjult i sitt hjerte, er enda større. Vi har gjort tegnene tydelige for dere hvis dere nå var villige til å bruke forstanden.

118. ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम ग़ैरों को (अपना) राज़दार न बनाओ वोह तुम्हारी निस्बत फित्ना अंगेज़ी में (कभी) कमी नहीं करेंगे, वोह तुम्हें सख़्त तक्लीफ पहुंचने की ख़्वाहिश रखते हैं, बुग़्ज़ तो उनकी ज़बानों से खु़द ज़ाहिर हो चुका है, और जो (अ़दावत) उनके सीनों ने छुपा रख्खी है वोह उससे (भी) बढ़कर है। हमने तुम्हारे लिए निशानियां वाज़ेह कर दी हैं अगर तुम्हें अ़क़्ल हो।

১১৮. হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের আপনজন ব্যতীত অন্য কাউকে ঘনিষ্ঠরূপে গ্রহণ করো না; তারা তোমাদের অনিষ্ট সাধনে (কখনো) কোনো ধরণের সুযোগ হাতছাড়া করবে না। তোমরা তীব্র কষ্টে থাকো সেটাই তারা কামনা করে, তাদের মুখেই বিদ্বেষ প্রকাশ পায় এবং তারা তাদের অন্তরে যা (অর্থাৎবিদ্বেষ) লুকিয়ে রাখে তা আরো গুরুতর। আমরা তোমাদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী সুস্পষ্ট করে দিয়েছি, যদি তোমরা অনুধাবন করো।

ہٰۤاَنۡتُمۡ اُولَآءِ تُحِبُّوۡنَہُمۡ وَ لَا یُحِبُّوۡنَکُمۡ وَ تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡکِتٰبِ کُلِّہٖ ۚ وَ اِذَا لَقُوۡکُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا ۚ٭ۖ وَ اِذَا خَلَوۡا عَضُّوۡا عَلَیۡکُمُ الۡاَنَامِلَ مِنَ الۡغَیۡظِ ؕ قُلۡ مُوۡتُوۡا بِغَیۡظِکُمۡ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ عَلِیۡمٌۢ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُوۡرِ ﴿۱۱۹﴾

119. آگاہ ہو جاؤ! تم وہ لوگ ہو کہ ان سے محبت رکھتے ہو اور وہ تمہیں پسند (تک) نہیں کرتے حالانکہ تم سب کتابوں پر ایمان رکھتے ہو، اور جب وہ تم سے ملتے ہیں (تو) کہتے ہیں: ہم ایمان لے آئے ہیں، اور جب اکیلے ہوتے ہیں تو تم پر غصے سے انگلیاں چباتے ہیں، فرما دیں: مر جاؤ اپنی گھٹن میں، بیشک اللہ دلوں کی (پوشیدہ) باتوں کو خوب جاننے والا ہےo

119. Here you are; you love them, but they do not love you, although you believe in all the Books. When they meet you, they say: ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone, they bite their fingertips out of rage against you. Say: ‘Die in your rage (if you wish).’ Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of what is in the breasts.

119. Beware! You are the ones who love them, but they do not (even) like you, although you believe in all the Books. When they meet you, they say: ‘We have accepted faith,’ but when alone, they bite their fingers in rage against you. Say: ‘Perish in your pent-up rage.’ Certainly, Allah knows well the secrets of hearts.

119. Haantum olai tuhibboonahum wala yuhibboonakum watuminoona bialkitabi kullihi waitha laqookum qaloo amanna waitha khalaw AAaddoo AAalaykumu alanamila mina alghaythi qul mootoo bighaythikum inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori

119. Ta dere i akt! Dere er de som elsker dem, men de liker ikke engang dere, enda dere tror på alle skriftene. Og når de møter dere, sier de: «Vi har antatt troen!», men når de er alene, biter de i fingrene av raseri mot dere. Si: «Dø av deres undertrykkende raseri!» Visselig, Allah kjenner svært godt til hjertets hemmeligheter.

119. आगाह हो जाओ! तुम वोह लोग हो कि उनसे महब्बत रखते हो और वोह तुम्हें पसन्द (तक) नहीं करते हालांकि तुम सब किताबों पर ईमान रखते हो, और जब वोह तुम से मिलते हैं (तो) कहते हैं हम ईमान ले आए हैं, और जब अकेले होते हैं तो तुम पर गु़स्से से उंगलियां चबाते हैं, फरमा दें: मर जाओ अपनी घुटन में, बेशक अल्लाह दिलों की (पोशीदा) बातों को ख़ूब जानने वाला है।

১১৯. সতর্ক থাকো! তোমরাই তাদেরকে ভালবাসো; কিন্তু তারা তোমাদেরকে পছন্দ (পর্যন্ত) করে না। অথচ তোমরা সমস্ত কিতাবেই বিশ্বাস রাখো। আর তারা যখন তোমাদের সংশ্রবে আসে (তখন) তারা বলে, ‘আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি’, কিন্তু যখন একা হয় তখন তোমাদের উপর ক্রোধে নিজেদের আঙ্গুল কামড়ায়। বলে দিন, ‘তোমরা তোমাদের ক্রোধেই মরো’। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ্ অন্তরের (লুকায়িত) বিষয় সম্পর্কে সবিশেষ অবগত।

اِنۡ تَمۡسَسۡکُمۡ حَسَنَۃٌ تَسُؤۡہُمۡ ۫ وَ اِنۡ تُصِبۡکُمۡ سَیِّئَۃٌ یَّفۡرَحُوۡا بِہَا ؕ وَ اِنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا وَ تَتَّقُوۡا لَا یَضُرُّکُمۡ کَیۡدُہُمۡ شَیۡـًٔا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ بِمَا یَعۡمَلُوۡنَ مُحِیۡطٌ ﴿۱۲۰﴾٪

120. اگر تمہیں کوئی بھلائی پہنچے تو انہیں بری لگتی ہے اور تمہیں کوئی رنج پہنچے تو وہ اس سے خوش ہوتے ہیں، اور اگر تم صبر کرتے رہو اور تقوٰی اختیار کئے رکھو تو ان کا فریب تمہیں کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا، جو کچھ وہ کر رہے ہیں بیشک اللہ اس پر احاطہ فرمائے ہوئے ہےo

120. If some good befalls you, it upsets them, but if some evil afflicts you, they rejoice at it. However, if you are patient and God-conscious, their scheme will not harm you in the least. Indeed, Allah comprehends whatever they are doing.

120. If something goes in your favour, it grieves them; but if some pain afflicts you, that pleases them. However, if you keep patience and guard yourselves against evil persistently, their deceitfulness will do you no harm. And indeed Allah has encompassed all that they are doing.

120. In tamsaskum hasanatun tasuhum wain tusibkum sayyiatun yafrahoo biha wain tasbiroo watattaqoo la yadurrukum kayduhum shayan inna Allaha bima yaAAmaloona muheetun

120. Hvis noe går til deres fordel, volder det dem sorg. Og hvis dere rammes av noen lidelse, gleder det dem. Men hvis dere holder dere tålmodige og gudfryktige, vil ikke deres renker kunne påføre dere noen som helst skade. Sannelig, Allah omslutter alt det de gjør.

120. अगर तुम्हें कोई भलाई पहुंचे तो उन्हें बुरी लगती है, और तुम्हें कोई रन्ज पहुंचे तो वोह उससे ख़ुश होते हैं, और अगर तुम सब्र करते रहो और तक़्वा इख़्तियार किए रखो तो उनका फरेब तुम्हें कोई नुक़्सान नहीं पहुंचा सकेगा, जो कुछ वोह कर रहे हैं बेशक अल्लाह उस पर इहाता फरमाए हुए है।

১২০. যদি তোমাদের কোনো কল্যাণ সাধিত হয় তবে তাদের খারাপ লাগে, আর তোমাদের কোনো অকল্যাণ সাধিত হলে তারা এতে আনন্দিত হয়। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য ধারণ করতে থাকো এবং পরহেযগারিতা অবলম্বন করো, তবে তাদের ষড়যন্ত্র তোমাদের কোনো ক্ষতিই করতে পারবে না। তারা যা কিছু করছে নিশ্চয়ই তা আল্লাহ্‌র আয়ত্বেই রয়েছে।
