قُلۡ یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ تَعَالَوۡا اِلٰی کَلِمَۃٍ سَوَآءٍۢ بَیۡنَنَا وَ بَیۡنَکُمۡ اَلَّا نَعۡبُدَ اِلَّا اللّٰہَ وَ لَا نُشۡرِکَ بِہٖ شَیۡئًا وَّ لَا یَتَّخِذَ بَعۡضُنَا بَعۡضًا اَرۡبَابًا مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰہِ ؕ فَاِنۡ تَوَلَّوۡا فَقُوۡلُوا اشۡہَدُوۡا بِاَنَّا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾

64. آپ فرما دیں: اے اہلِ کتاب! تم اس بات کی طرف آجاؤ جو ہمارے اور تمہارے درمیان یکساں ہے، (وہ یہ) کہ ہم اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہیں کریں گے اور ہم اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں ٹھہرائیں گے اور ہم میں سے کوئی ایک دوسرے کو اللہ کے سوا رب نہیں بنائے گا، پھر اگر وہ روگردانی کریں تو کہہ دو کہ گواہ ہو جاؤ کہ ہم تو اللہ کے تابع فرمان (مسلمان) ہیںo

64. Say: ‘O People of the Book! Come to a common word between us and you, that we will worship none but Allah and associate none with Him. And we will not take one another as Lords besides Allah.’ Then, if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims (i.e. we have submitted to Allah).’

64. Say: ‘O People of the Book, come to that matter which is common between us and you (namely that): we shall worship none other than Allah, and we shall not associate any partner with Him. Nor shall anyone of us take one another as Lords apart from Allah. Then if they turn away, say: Bear witness that we are but Allah’s obedient servants (Muslims).’

64. Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalaw ila kalimatin sawain baynana wabaynakum alla naAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihi shayan wala yattakhitha baAAduna baAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fain tawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bianna muslimoona

64. Si: «Å, skriftens folk! Kom til den saken som er felles for oss og dere, (det er): Vi skal ikke tilbe noen andre enn Allah, og vi skal ikke likestille noe med Ham, og ei heller skal noen av oss holde hverandre som herrer utenom Allah.» Men hvis de vender bort, si: «Vær vitner til at vi er Allahs underdanige tjenere (muslimer).»

64. आप फरमा दें: ऐ अह्‌ले किताब! तुम इस बात की तरफ आ जाओ जो हमारे और तुम्हारे दर्मियान यक्सां है, (वोह ये) कि हम अल्लाह के सिवा किसी की इबादत नहीं करेंगे और हम उसके साथ किसीको शरीक नहीं ठहराएंगे और हममें से कोई एक-दूसरे को अल्लाह के सिवा रब नहीं बनाएगा, फिर अगर वोह रूगर्दानी करें तो कह दो कि गवाह हो जाओ कि हम तो अल्लाह के ताबेए फरमान (मुसलमान) हैं।

৬৪. আপনি বলুন, ‘হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা সে কথায় আসো যা আমাদের এবং তোমাদের মাঝে অভিন্ন (তা এই) যে, আমরা আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত কারো ইবাদত করবো না, তাঁর সাথে কোনো কিছুকেই শরীক করবো না এবং আমাদের কেউ আল্লাহ্ ব্যতীত একে অপরকে প্রতিপালকরূপে গ্রহণ করবো না।’ অতঃপর যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলে দিন, ‘সাক্ষী থাকো, আমরা তো আল্লাহ্‌র নির্দেশের অনুগামী (মুসলমান)।’

یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لِمَ تُحَآجُّوۡنَ فِیۡۤ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ وَ مَاۤ اُنۡزِلَتِ التَّوۡرٰىۃُ وَ الۡاِنۡجِیۡلُ اِلَّا مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِہٖ ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ ﴿۶۵﴾

65. اے اہلِ کتاب! تم ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے بارے میں کیوں جھگڑتے ہو (یعنی انہیں یہودی یا نصرانی کیوں ٹھہراتے ہو) حالانکہ تورات اور انجیل (جن پر تمہارے دونوں مذہبوں کی بنیاد ہے) تو نازل ہی ان کے بعد کی گئی تھیں، کیا تم (اتنی بھی) عقل نہیں رکھتےo

65. O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Ibrahim (Abraham) while the Torah and the Injil (the Gospel) were not revealed until long after him? Do you not understand?

65. O People of the Book! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim ([Abraham] i.e., why do you regard him as a Jew or a Christian])? The truth is that the Torah and the Injil ([the Gospel] on which both your religions are based) were sent down after his time. Have you not even (this much) sense?

65. Ya ahla alkitabi lima tuhajjoona fee ibraheema wama onzilati alttawratu waalinjeelu illa min baAAdihi afala taAAqiloona

65. Å, skriftens folk! Hvorfor tretter dere om Abraham (hvorfor anser dere ham som jøde eller kristen), enda toraen og evangeliet (som begge deres religioner er basert på) ble sendt ned etter hans tid. Har dere da ikke såpass mye vett?

65. ऐ अह्‌ले किताब! तुम इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के बारे में क्यों झगड़ते हो (यानी उन्हें यहूदी या नसरानी क्यों ठहराते हो) हालांकि तौरात और इन्जील (जिन पर तुम्हारे दोनों मज़हबों की बुन्याद है) तो नाज़िल ही उनके बाद की गई थीं, क्या तुम (इतनी भी) अ़क़्ल नहीं रखते।

৬৫. হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর ব্যাপারে কেন তর্ক করছো (অর্থাৎ তাঁকে কেন ইহুদী কিংবা খ্রিস্টান ধরে নিচ্ছ) অথচ তাওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল (যেগুলোর উপর তোমাদের উভয়ের ধর্মের ভিত্তি সেগুলো) তো তাঁর পরেই অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল। তোমরা কি (এটুকু) জ্ঞানও রাখো না?

ہٰۤاَنۡتُمۡ ہٰۤؤُلَآءِ حَاجَجۡتُمۡ فِیۡمَا لَکُمۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَآجُّوۡنَ فِیۡمَا لَیۡسَ لَکُمۡ بِہٖ عِلۡمٌ ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ یَعۡلَمُ وَ اَنۡتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿۶۶﴾

66. سن لو! تم وہی لوگ ہو جو ان باتوں میں بھی جھگڑتے رہے ہو جن کا تمہیں (کچھ نہ کچھ) علم تھا مگر ان باتوں میں کیوں تکرار کرتے ہو جن کا تمہیں (سرے سے) کوئی علم ہی نہیں، اور اللہ جانتا ہے اور تم نہیں جانتےo

66. Ah! You are the ones who argue about what you have little knowledge of; but why do you argue about what you have no knowledge of? And Allah knows, and you do not know.

66. Listen! You are the people who have also been disputing about matters of which you had (but some) knowledge. But why do you dispute about things of which you have no knowledge (at all)? And Allah knows but you do not know.

66. Haantum haolai hajajtum feema lakum bihi AAilmun falima tuhajjoona feema laysa lakum bihi AAilmun waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona

66. Hør etter! Dere er det folket som har disputert om saker som dere hadde (noen) kunnskap om, men hvorfor disputerer dere om de sakene som dere ikke har noen kunnskap om? Og Allah vet, og dere vet ikke.

66. सुन लो! तुम वोही लोग हो जो उन बातों में भी झगड़ते रहे हो जिनका तुम्हें (कुछ न कुछ) इल्म था मगर उन बातों में क्यों तकरार करते हो जिनका तुम्हें (सिरे से) कोई इल्म ही नहीं, और अल्लाह जानता है और तुम नहीं जानते।

৬৬. শুনে রাখো! তোমরাই সেসব বিষয়ে বাদানুবাদ করছো যে বিষয়ে তোমাদের জ্ঞান (যতসামান্য); কিন্তু এসব বিষয়ে তোমরা কেন বাদানুবাদ করছো যে বিষয়ে তোমাদের (আদৌ) কোনো জ্ঞানই নেই? আর আল্লাহ্ জ্ঞাত আছেন এবং তোমরা জ্ঞাত নও।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 66)

مَا کَانَ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمُ یَہُوۡدِیًّا وَّ لَا نَصۡرَانِیًّا وَّ لٰکِنۡ کَانَ حَنِیۡفًا مُّسۡلِمًا ؕ وَ مَا کَانَ مِنَ الۡمُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۶۷﴾

67. ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) نہ یہودی تھے اور نہ نصرانی وہ ہر باطل سے جدا رہنے والے (سچے) مسلمان تھے، اور وہ مشرکوں میں سے بھی نہ تھےo

67. Ibrahim (Abraham) was not a Jew nor a Christian; instead, he was an upright Muslim possessing pure faith. And he was never among the polytheists.

67. Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian; he was a (true) Muslim, far detached from all heresy and falsehood. Nor was he one of the polytheists.

67. Ma kana ibraheemu yahoodiyyan wala nasraniyyan walakin kana haneefan musliman wama kana mina almushrikeena

67. Abraham var verken jøde eller kristen, derimot var han en sann muslim, atskilt fra all falskhet, og han var ikke av flergudsdyrkerne.

67. इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) न यहूदी थे और न नसरानी वोह हर बातिल से जुदा रहने वाले (सच्चे) मुसलमान थे, और वोह मुश्रिकों में से भी न थे।

৬৭. ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম) ইহুদীও ছিলেন না এবং খ্রিস্টানও ছিলেন না, তিনি ছিলেন সকল মিথ্যা থেকে পৃথক (একনিষ্ঠ) আত্মসমর্পণকারী। আর তিনি মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিলেন না।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 67)

اِنَّ اَوۡلَی النَّاسِ بِاِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ لَلَّذِیۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡہُ وَ ہٰذَا النَّبِیُّ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ وَلِیُّ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۶۸﴾

68. بیشک سب لوگوں سے بڑھ کر ابراہیم (علیہ السلام) کے قریب (اور حق دار) تو وہی لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے ان (کے دین) کی پیروی کی ہے اور (وہ) یہی نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اور (ان پر) ایمان لانے والے ہیں، اور اللہ ایمان والوں کا مددگار ہےo

68. Indeed, the nearest of all people to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who follow him, and (they are none other than) this Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) and those who have believed (in him). And Allah is the Guardian of the believers.

68. Certainly, the nearest of the people to Ibrahim (Abraham), (and the most deserving) are those who have followed him (in his Din [Religion]). And (they) are no other than this Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) and those who have believed (in him). And Allah is the Helper of the believers.

68. Inna awla alnnasi biibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahatha alnnabiyyu waallatheena amanoo waAllahu waliyyu almumineena

68. Visselig, de som er Abraham nærmest (og de som har mest rett til å kalle seg ham tilknyttet), er de som har fulgt ham (levemåten hans). Og det er ingen andre enn denne Profeten (ﷺ) og de som antar troen (på ham). Og Allah er de troendes hjelper.

68. बेशक सब लोगों से बढ़ कर इब्राहीम (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के क़रीब (और हक़्क़दार) तो वोही लोग हैं जिन्होंने उन (के दीन) की पैरवी की है और (वोह) येही नबी (सल्लल्लाहु अ़लैहि व सल्लम) और (उन पर) ईमान लाने वाले हैं, और अल्लाह ईमान वालों का मददगार है।

৬৮. নিশ্চয়ই মানুষের মাঝে তো তারাই ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর নিকটতর (এবং ঘনিষ্ঠতর) যারা তাঁর দ্বীনের অনুসারী, আর (তারা) এ নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া আলিহী ওয়া সাল্লাম) এবং (তাঁর প্রতি) ঈমান আনয়নকারীগণ। আর আল্লাহ্ ঈমানদারগণের সাহায্যকারী।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 68)

وَدَّتۡ طَّآئِفَۃٌ مِّنۡ اَہۡلِ الۡکِتٰبِ لَوۡ یُضِلُّوۡنَکُمۡ ؕ وَ مَا یُضِلُّوۡنَ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡفُسَہُمۡ وَ مَا یَشۡعُرُوۡنَ ﴿۶۹﴾

69. (اے مسلمانو!) اہلِ کتاب میں سے ایک گروہ تو (شدید) خواہش رکھتا ہے کہ کاش وہ تمہیں گمراہ کر سکیں، مگر وہ فقط اپنے آپ ہی کو گمراہی میں مبتلا کئے ہوئے ہیں اور انہیں (اس بات کا) شعور نہیںo

69. (O Muslims!) A group of the People of the Book intensely desire to make you go astray, but they lead no one astray except themselves, though they may not realise it.

69. (O Muslims!) A section of the People of the Book (intensely) desire to, somehow, lead you astray, but they have led astray only themselves whilst they have no sense (of it).

69. Waddat taifatun min ahli alkitabi law yudilloonakum wama yudilloona illa anfusahum wama yashAAuroona

69. (Å, muslimer!) En gruppe av skriftens folk ønsker (sterkt) å villede dere på en eller annen måte, men de har forvillet kun seg selv, mens de ikke aner det engang.

69. (ऐ मुसलमानो!) अह्‌ले किताब में से एक गिरोह तो (शदीद) ख़्वाहिश रखता है कि काश वोह तुम्हें गुमराह कर सकें, मगर वोह फक़त अपने आप ही को गुमराही में मुब्तला किए हुए हैं और उन्हें (इस बात का) शुऊर नहीं।

৬৯. (হে মুসলমানগণ!) আহলে কিতাবের একটি দল তোমাদেরকে বিপথগামী করার (তীব্র) বাসনা পোষণ করে; অথচ তারা কেবল তাদের নিজেদেরকেই বিপথগামী করে। কিন্তু তারা তা উপলব্ধি করে না।
(Al-i-Imran, 3 : 69)

یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لِمَ تَکۡفُرُوۡنَ بِاٰیٰتِ اللّٰہِ وَ اَنۡتُمۡ تَشۡہَدُوۡنَ ﴿۷۰﴾

70. اے اہلِ کتاب! تم اللہ کی آیتوں کا انکار کیوں کر رہے ہو حالانکہ تم خود گواہ ہو (یعنی تم اپنی کتابوں میں سب کچھ پڑھ چکے ہو)o

70. O People of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in Allah’s revelations while you bear witness (to the truth)?

70. O People of the Book! Why are you denying Allah’s Revelations whilst you bear witness yourselves (i.e., you have read everything in your Books)?

70. Ya ahla alkitabi lima takfuroona biayati Allahi waantum tashhadoona

70. Å, skriftens folk! Hvorfor fornekter dere Allahs åpenbaringer, enda dere bevitner dem selv (dere har lest om alt dette i skriftene deres)?

70. ऐ अह्‌ले किताब! तुम अल्लाह की आयतों का इन्कार क्यों कर रहे हो हालांकि तुम ख़ुद गवाह हो (यानी तुम अपनी किताबों में सब कुछ पढ़ चुके हो) ।

৭০. হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা কেন আল্লাহ্‌র আয়াতসমূহকে অস্বীকার করছো, যখন তোমরা নিজেরাই সাক্ষ্য বহন করো (অর্থাৎ তোমরা নিজেদের কিতাবসমূহে সবকিছু পাঠ করেছো)?

یٰۤاَہۡلَ الۡکِتٰبِ لِمَ تَلۡبِسُوۡنَ الۡحَقَّ بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَ تَکۡتُمُوۡنَ الۡحَقَّ وَ اَنۡتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ﴿٪۷۱﴾

71. اے اہلِ کتاب! تم حق کو باطل کے ساتھ کیوں خلط ملط کرتے ہو اور حق کو کیوں چھپاتے ہو حالانکہ تم جانتے ہوo

71. O People of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with falsehood and conceal the truth while you know (it)?

71. O People of the Book! Why do you confound the truth with falsehood, and why do you hide the truth whereas you know?

71. Ya ahla alkitabi lima talbisoona alhaqqa bialbatili wataktumoona alhaqqa waantum taAAlamoona

71. Å, skriftens folk! Hvorfor blander dere sannheten med falskheten, og hvorfor skjuler dere sannheten, enda dere vet?

71. ऐ अह्‌ले किताब! तुम हक़्क़ को बातिल के साथ क्यों ख़ल्‌त मल्‌त करते हो और हक़्क़ को क्यों छुपाते हो हालांकि तुम जानते हो।

৭১. হে আহলে কিতাব! তোমরা কেন সত্যকে মিথ্যার সাথে মিশ্রিত করছো এবং সত্য গোপন করছো, যখন তোমরা জানো?
