Surah Maryam Ayat 12 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

یٰیَحۡیٰی خُذِ الۡکِتٰبَ بِقُوَّۃٍ ؕ وَ اٰتَیۡنٰہُ الۡحُکۡمَ صَبِیًّا ﴿ۙ۱۲﴾

12. اے یحیٰی! (ہماری) کتاب (تورات) کو مضبوطی سے تھامے رکھو، اور ہم نے انہیں بچپن ہی سے حکمت و بصیرت (نبوت) عطا فرما دی تھیo

12. (We later said:) ‘O Yahya (John)! Hold on to the Book (i.e. the Torah) firmly. And We granted him wisdom (and prophethood) while he was still a child,

12. O Yahya (John)! Hold fast to (Our) Book (the Torah). And We granted him wisdom and vision (i.e., Prophethood) whilst yet a child,

12. Ya yahya khuthi alkitaba biquwwatin waataynahu alhukma sabiyyan

12. (Allah sa): «Å, Johannes! Hold fast ved skriften (Vår – toraen)!» Vi ga ham (profetskapets) visdom og innsikt fra barndom av

12. ऐ यह्या! (हमारी) किताब (तौरात) को मज़बूती से थामे रखो और हमने उन्हें बचपन ही से हिक्मतो बसीरत (नुबुव्वत) अ़ता फरमा दी थी।

১২. ‘হে ইয়াহ্ইয়া! (আমাদের) কিতাব (তাওরাত) দৃঢ়ভাবে আকড়ে ধরো’, আমরা তাকে শৈশবেই দান করেছিলাম প্রজ্ঞা ও (নবুয়্যতের) অন্তর্দৃষ্টি
