قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا تَطَیَّرۡنَا بِکُمۡ ۚ لَئِنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَہُوۡا لَنَرۡجُمَنَّکُمۡ وَ لَیَمَسَّنَّکُمۡ مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ اَلِیۡمٌ ﴿۱۸﴾

18. (بستی والوں نے) کہا: ہمیں تم سے نحوست پہنچی ہے اگر تم واقعی باز نہ آئے تو ہم تمہیں یقیناً سنگ سار کر دیں گے اور ہماری طرف سے تمہیں ضرور دردناک عذاب پہنچے گاo

18. (The people of the city) said: ‘An evil omen has reached us from you. If you do not desist, we shall certainly stone you, and you will definitely suffer an agonizing punishment at our hands.’

(Yasin, 36 : 18)
