Surah al-An‘am Ayat 23 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

ثُمَّ لَمۡ تَکُنۡ فِتۡنَتُہُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ قَالُوۡا وَ اللّٰہِ رَبِّنَا مَا کُنَّا مُشۡرِکِیۡنَ ﴿۲۳﴾

23. پھر ان کی (کوئی) معذرت نہ رہے گی بجز اس کے کہ وہ کہیں (گے): ہمیں اپنے رب اللہ کی قَسم ہے! ہم مشرک نہ تھےo

23. Then their argument would be nothing but to say: ‘By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists.’

23. Then they will be left with no other excuse except that they (will) say: ‘By Allah, our Lord, we did not associate partners with Allah.’

23. Thumma lam takun fitnatuhum illa an qaloo waAllahi rabbina ma kunna mushrikeena

23. Deretter vil de ikke ha noen unnskyldning å komme med bortsett fra å si: «Ved Allah, Herren vår! Vi var ikke flergudsdyrkere!»

23. फिर उनकी (कोई) मा’ज़िरत न रहेगी बजुज़ इसके कि वोह कहें (गे:) हमें अपने रब अल्लाह की क़सम है हम मुश्रिक न थे।

২৩. অতঃপর এছাড়া তাদের আর (কোনো) অযুহাত থাকবে না, তারা বলবে, ‘আমাদের প্রতিপালক আল্লাহ্‌র শপথ! আমরা মুশরিক ছিলাম না’।
(al-An‘am, 6 : 23)
