اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

وَ زَکَرِیَّا وَ یَحۡیٰی وَ عِیۡسٰی وَ اِلۡیَاسَ ؕ کُلٌّ مِّنَ الصّٰلِحِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۵﴾

85. اور زکریا اور یحیٰی اور عیسٰی اور الیاس (علیھم السلام کو بھی ہدایت بخشی)۔ یہ سب نیکو کار (قربت اور حضوری والے) لوگ تھےo

85. And (We guided also) Zakariyya (Zacharias), Yahya (John) and ‘Isa (Jesus) and Ilyas (Elias). All these were the righteous people (blessed with His nearness and divine consciousness).

85. Wazakariyya wayahya waAAeesa wailyasa kullun mina alssaliheena

85. Og (Vi rettledet) Sakarias og Johannes og Jesus og Elias, de var alle rettskafne (Allahs nærstående og Hans høytstående tjenere).

85. और ज़करिय्या और यह्‌या़ और ईसा और इल्यास (अ़लैहिमुस्सलाम को भी हिदायत बख़्शी) । ये सब नेकूकार (कुर्बत और हुज़ूरी वाले) लोग थे।

৮৫. আর (আমরা) যাকারিয়্যা, ইয়াহইয়া এবং ইলিয়াস (আলাইহিমুস সালামকেও হেদায়াত দান করেছি)। তাঁরা সবাই পূণ্যবান (এবং নৈকট্যবান ও ঐশীচেতনা সম্পন্ন) ছিলেন।
