اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے

اِنَّ الَّذِیۡنَ کَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰیٰتِنَا وَ اسۡتَکۡبَرُوۡا عَنۡہَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَہُمۡ اَبۡوَابُ السَّمَآءِ وَ لَا یَدۡخُلُوۡنَ الۡجَنَّۃَ حَتّٰی یَلِجَ الۡجَمَلُ فِیۡ سَمِّ الۡخِیَاطِ ؕ وَ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِی الۡمُجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿۴۰﴾

40. بیشک جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیتوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے سرکشی کی ان کے لئے آسمانِ (رحمت و قبولیت) کے دروازے نہیں کھولے جائیں گے اور نہ ہی وہ جنت میں داخل ہو سکیں گے یہاں تک کہ سوئی کے سوراخ میں اونٹ داخل ہو جائے (یعنی جیسے یہ ناممکن ہے اسی طرح ان کا جنت میں داخل ہونا بھی ناممکن ہے)، اور ہم مجرموں کو اسی طرح سزا دیتے ہیںo

40. Indeed, those who reject Our revelations and look down on them arrogantly, the gates of Heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter Paradise until the camel passes through the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the guilty.

40. Indeed, those who reject Our Revelations as false and rebel against them, the gates of the heavens (of mercy and acceptance) shall not be opened to them, nor will they be able to enter Paradise until the camel passes through the eye of a needle (i.e., their entrance into Paradise will be impossible the same way). And it is like that We punish the evildoers.

40. Inna allatheena kaththaboo biayatina waistakbaroo AAanha la tufattahu lahum abwabu alssamai wala yadkhuloona aljannata hatta yalija aljamalu fee sammi alkhiyati wakathalika najzee almujrimeena

40. Sannelig, de som forsverger åpenbaringene Våre og viser hovmod mot dem, for dem vil himmelens (nådens og godtakingens) porter ikke bli åpnet, og ei heller vil de kunne gå inn i paradiset før en kamel passerer gjennom et nåløye (akkurat som dette er umulig, slik er det umulig for dem å gå inn i paradiset). Og slik straffer Vi synderne.

40. बेशक जिन लोगों ने हमारी आयतों को झुटलाया और उनसे सर्कशी की उनके लिए आस्माने (रहमतो क़बूलिय्यत) के दरवाजे़ नहीं खोले जाएंगे और न ही वोह जन्नत में दाख़िल हो सकेंगे यहां तक कि सूई के सूराख़ में ऊंट दाख़िल हो जाए (यानी जैसे ये नामुम्किन है उसी तरह उनका जन्नत में दाख़िल होना भी नामुम्किन है), और हम मुज्रिमों को इसी तरह सज़ा देते हैं।

৪০. নিশ্চয়ই যারা আমাদের আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যাপ্রতিপন্ন করেছে এবং সেগুলোর অবাধ্য হয়েছে, তাদের জন্যে না আসমানের (অনুগ্রহ ও গ্রহণযোগ্যতার) দরোজা খোলা হবে আর না তারা জান্নাতেও প্রবেশ করতে পারবে, যতক্ষণ না সূচের ছিদ্র দিয়ে উট প্রবেশ করে (অর্থাৎ যেভাবে এরূপ হওয়া অসম্ভব সেভাবে তাদের জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করাও অসম্ভব)। আর আমরা অপরাধীদেরকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দেই।
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 40)

لَہُمۡ مِّنۡ جَہَنَّمَ مِہَادٌ وَّ مِنۡ فَوۡقِہِمۡ غَوَاشٍ ؕ وَ کَذٰلِکَ نَجۡزِی الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿۴۱﴾

41. اور ان کے لئے (آتشِ) دوزخ کا بچھونا اور ان کے اوپر (اسی کا) اوڑھنا ہوگا، اور ہم ظالموں کو اسی طرح سزا دیتے ہیںo

41. They shall have Hell for their bed, and there shall be sheets (of fire) over them. And thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.

41. The (Fire of) Hell will be their mattress as well as a covering over them, and We torment the wrongdoers the same way.

41. Lahum min jahannama mihadun wamin fawqihim ghawashin wakathalika najzee alththalimeena

41. Helvete (helvetes ild) vil være deres liggeunderlag, og (den vil de ha) til å bre over seg. Og slik straffer Vi de ondsinnede.

41. और उनके लिए (आतिशे) दोज़ख़ का बिछोना और उनके ऊपर (उसी का) ओढ़ना होगा, और हम ज़ालिमों को इसी तरह सज़ा देते हैं।

৪১. আর তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে দোযখের (আগুনের) বিছানা এবং তাদের উপর (এরই) আচ্ছাদন থাকবে। আর আমরা যালিমদেরকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দেই।

وَ الَّذِیۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَ عَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَا نُکَلِّفُ نَفۡسًا اِلَّا وُسۡعَہَاۤ ۫ اُولٰٓئِکَ اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَنَّۃِ ۚ ہُمۡ فِیۡہَا خٰلِدُوۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾

42. اور جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے، ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ مکلّف نہیں کرتے، یہی لوگ اہلِ جنت ہیں وہ اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گےo

42. But those who believe and do righteous deeds—We do not task a soul beyond its capacity. It is they who are the inhabitants of Paradise; they shall remain there forever.

42. But those who believe and do good works persistently, We do not burden anyone beyond his endurance; it is they who are the people of Paradise; they will live in it forever.

42. Waallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati la nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha olaika ashabu aljannati hum feeha khalidoona

42. Og de som antar troen og handler rettskaffent – Vi legger ikke byrde på noen person mer enn det han makter å bære –, disse er paradisets folk, de vil være i det for alltid.

42. और जो लोग ईमान लाए और नेक अ़मल करते रहे, हम कि सी शख़्स को उसकी ताक़त से ज़ियादा मुकल्लफ नहीं करते, येही लोग अहले जन्नत हैं वोह उसमें हमेशा रहेंगे।

৪২. আর যারা ঈমান আনে এবং অবিরত নেক আমল করে, আমরা কোনো ব্যক্তিকে তার সাধ্যের বাইরে বাড়তি বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেই না। এরাই জান্নাতের অধিকারী, তারা তাতে চিরকাল থাকবে।
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 42)

وَ نَزَعۡنَا مَا فِیۡ صُدُوۡرِہِمۡ مِّنۡ غِلٍّ تَجۡرِیۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِہِمُ الۡاَنۡہٰرُ ۚ وَ قَالُوا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیۡ ہَدٰىنَا لِہٰذَا ۟ وَ مَا کُنَّا لِنَہۡتَدِیَ لَوۡ لَاۤ اَنۡ ہَدٰىنَا اللّٰہُ ۚ لَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالۡحَقِّ ؕ وَ نُوۡدُوۡۤا اَنۡ تِلۡکُمُ الۡجَنَّۃُ اُوۡرِثۡتُمُوۡہَا بِمَا کُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ ﴿۴۳﴾

43. اور ہم وہ (رنجش و) کینہ جو ان کے سینوں میں (دنیا کے اندر ایک دوسرے کے لئے) تھا نکال (کے دور کر) دیں گے ان کے (محلوں کے) نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی، اور وہ کہیں گے: سب تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں جس نے ہمیں یہاں تک پہنچا دیا، اور ہم (اس مقام تک کبھی) راہ نہ پا سکتے تھے اگر اللہ ہمیں ہدایت نہ فرماتا، بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق (کا پیغام) لائے تھے، اور (اس دن) ندا دی جائے گی کہ تم لوگ اس جنت کے وارث بنا دیئے گئے ہو ان (نیک) اعمال کے باعث جو تم انجام دیتے تھےo

43. We will remove whatever rancour lies within their breasts. And rivers will flow beneath them. And they will say: ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Who guided us to this (place). We would never have found the way (to this place) if Allah had not guided us. The messengers of our Lord had certainly brought the truth.’ And a call would be made (to them): ‘This is your Paradise, (which) you have been given as inheritance for what you used to do.’

43. And We shall remove from their breasts (rancour and) spite (that they had for others in the world). Streams will flow under (their palaces), and they will say: ‘All praise belongs to Allah alone, Who has brought us here. Had Allah not guided us, we would never have made our way through (to this station). Verily, the Messengers of our Lord brought us (the message of) truth.’ It will be called out (that Day): ‘You have been made heirs to this Paradise for the (pious) deeds that you used to do.’

43. WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin tajree min tahtihimu alanharu waqaloo alhamdu lillahi allathee hadana lihatha wama kunna linahtadiya lawla an hadana Allahu laqad jaat rusulu rabbina bialhaqqi wanoodoo an tilkumu aljannatu oorithtumooha bima kuntum taAAmaloona

43. Og Vi vil fjerne (bitterheten og) naget i deres hjerte (som de hadde for hverandre i jordelivet), elver vil flyte under dem (palassene deres), og de vil si: «All lovprisning er for Allah, som har ført oss hit! Og vi kunne aldri ha funnet veien (til denne rangen) hvis ikke Allah hadde veiledet oss. Sannelig, sendebudene til Herren vår kom med sannheten (det sanne budskapet)!» Og det vil bli ropt ut (på den dagen): «Dere er blitt gjort til arvtakerne av dette paradiset takket være de handlingene dere pleide å utføre.»

43. और हम वोह (रंजिशो) कीना जो उनके सीनों में (दुन्या के अन्दर एक दूसरे के लिए) था निकाल (के दूर कर) देंगे उनके (महलों के) नीचे नहरें जारी होंगी और वोह कहेंगे: सब तारीफे़ं अल्लाह ही के लिए हैं, जिसने हमें यहां तक पहुंचा दिया, और हम (इस मक़ाम तक कभी) राह न पा सकते थे अगर अल्लाह हमें हिदायत न फरमाता बेशक हमारे रब के रसूल हक़्क़ (का पैग़ाम) लाए थे, और (उस दिन) निदा दी जाएगी कि तुम लोग इस जन्नत के वारिस बना दिए गए हो उन (नेक) आमाल के बाइस जो तुम अंजाम देते थे।

৪৩. আর (দুনিয়াতে একে অপরের জন্যে) তাদের অন্তরে যে (হিংসা ও) বিদ্বেষ ছিল, আমরা তা বের করে (দূরীভুত করে) দেবো; তাদের (প্রাসাদসমূহের) তলদেশে স্রোতধারা প্রবাহিত থাকবে; আর তারা বলবে, ‘সকল প্রশংসা আল্লাহ্‌রই জন্যে, যিনি আমাদেরকে এ পর্যন্ত পৌঁছে দিয়েছেন। আর আমরা (এ মাকাম পর্যন্ত কখনো) পথ পেতাম না, যদি আল্লাহ্ আমাদেরকে হেদায়াত না দিতেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের প্রতিপালকের রাসূলগণ সত্য (বার্তা) নিয়ে এসেছিলেন।’ আর (সে দিন) আহ্বান করা হবে, ‘তোমাদেরকে এমন জান্নাতের উত্তরাধিকারী বানানো হয়েছে, সে (নেক) আমলের কারণে যা তোমরা করতে’।

وَ نَادٰۤی اَصۡحٰبُ الۡجَنَّۃِ اَصۡحٰبَ النَّارِ اَنۡ قَدۡ وَجَدۡنَا مَا وَعَدَنَا رَبُّنَا حَقًّا فَہَلۡ وَجَدۡتُّمۡ مَّا وَعَدَ رَبُّکُمۡ حَقًّا ؕ قَالُوۡا نَعَمۡ ۚ فَاَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌۢ بَیۡنَہُمۡ اَنۡ لَّعۡنَۃُ اللّٰہِ عَلَی الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۴﴾

44. اور اہلِ جنت دوزخ والوں کو پکار کر کہیں گے: ہم نے تو واقعتاً اسے سچّا پالیا جو وعدہ ہمارے رب نے ہم سے فرمایا تھا، سو کیا تم نے (بھی) اسے سچّا پایا جو وعدہ تمہارے ربّ نے (تم سے) کیا تھا؟ وہ کہیں گے: ہاں۔ پھر ان کے درمیان ایک آواز دینے والا آواز دے گا کہ ظالموں پر اللہ کی لعنت ہےo

44. The people of Paradise will call out to the people of Hell: ‘We have indeed found what our Lord had promised us to be true. Have you (also) found what your Lord had promised (you) to be true?’ They will answer: ‘Yes.’ Then a caller will announce among them: ‘The curse of Allah be upon the wrongdoers—

44. And the people of Paradise will call out to the inmates of Hell: ‘We have really found true the promise that our Lord made to us. Have you (also) found true what your Lord promised (you)?’ They will answer: ‘Yes.’ Thereupon a herald will call out amongst them: ‘The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers.

44. Wanada ashabu aljannati ashaba alnnari an qad wajadna ma waAAadana rabbuna haqqan fahal wajadtum ma waAAada rabbukum haqqan qaloo naAAam faaththana muaththinun baynahum an laAAnatu Allahi AAala alththalimeena

44. Og paradisets beboere vil rope ut til helvetes beboere: «Vi har i sannhet funnet vår Herres løfte sant, har dere også funnet det sant, det som Herren deres lovet (dere)?» De vil si: «Ja!» Så vil en utroper utrope mellom dem: «Allahs forbannelse er over de ondsinnede!

44. और अहले जन्नत दोज़ख़ वालों को पुकार कर कहेंगे: हमने तो वाक़िअतन उसे सच्चा पा लिया जो वादा हमारे रब ने हमसे फरमाया था, सो क्या तुमने (भी) उसे सच्चा पाया जो वादा तुम्हारे रब ने (तुमसे) किया था? वोह कहेंगे हां। फिर उनके दर्मियान एक आवाज़ देने वाला आवाज़ देगा कि ज़ालिमों पर अल्लाह की लानत है।

৪৪. আর জান্নাতের অধিবাসীরা দোযখীদেরকে ডেকে বলবে, ‘আমাদের প্রতিপালক আমাদেরকে যে অঙ্গীকার করেছিলেন, আমরা তো তা বাস্তবিকই সত্য পেয়েছি। অতএব, তোমাদের প্রতিপালক (তোমাদের সাথে) যে অঙ্গীকার করেছিলেন, তোমরা(ও) কি তা সত্য পাওনি?’ তারা বলবে, ‘হ্যাঁ’, অতঃপর তাদের মাঝে এক ঘোষক আহ্বান করবে, ‘যালিমদের উপর আল্লাহ্‌র অভিসম্পাত।
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 44)

الَّذِیۡنَ یَصُدُّوۡنَ عَنۡ سَبِیۡلِ اللّٰہِ وَ یَبۡغُوۡنَہَا عِوَجًا ۚ وَ ہُمۡ بِالۡاٰخِرَۃِ کٰفِرُوۡنَ ﴿ۘ۴۵﴾

45. (یہ وہی ہیں) جو (لوگوں کو) اللہ کی راہ سے روکتے تھے اور اس میں کجی تلاش کرتے تھے اور وہ آخرت کا انکار کرنے والے تھےo

45. those who bar (others) from the way of Allah and seek to make it crooked, and they disbelieve in the Hereafter.’

45. (It is they) who used to hinder (the people) from the path of Allah and look for crookedness in it and they disbelieved in the Hereafter.’

45. Allatheena yasuddoona AAan sabeeli Allahi wayabghoonaha AAiwajan wahum bialakhirati kafiroona

45. De er de som pleide å hindre folk fra Allahs vei og lette etter muligheter for å gjøre den krokete, og de fornektet det hinsidige.»

45. (ये वोही हैं) जो (लोगों को) अल्लाह की राह से रोकते थे और उसमें कजी तलाश करते थे और वोह आख़िरत का इन्कार करने वाले थे।

৪৫. (এরা তারাই) যারা আল্লাহ্‌র পথে (লোকদেরকে) বাধা দিতো, তাতে কুটিলতা অন্বেষণ করতো এবং তারা পরকালের অস্বীকারকারী ছিল।’
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 45)

وَ بَیۡنَہُمَا حِجَابٌ ۚ وَ عَلَی الۡاَعۡرَافِ رِجَالٌ یَّعۡرِفُوۡنَ کُلًّۢا بِسِیۡمٰہُمۡ ۚ وَ نَادَوۡا اَصۡحٰبَ الۡجَنَّۃِ اَنۡ سَلٰمٌ عَلَیۡکُمۡ ۟ لَمۡ یَدۡخُلُوۡہَا وَ ہُمۡ یَطۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿۴۶﴾

46. اور (ان) دونوں (یعنی جنتیوں اور دوزخیوں) کے درمیان ایک حجاب (یعنی فصیل) ہے، اور اَعراف (یعنی اسی فصیل) پر کچھ مرد ہوں گے جو سب کو ان کی نشانیوں سے پہچان لیں گے۔ اور وہ اہلِ جنت کو پکار کر کہیں گے کہ تم پر سلامتی ہو۔ وہ (اہلِ اَعراف خود ابھی) جنت میں داخل نہیں ہوئے ہوں گے حالانکہ وہ (اس کے) امیدوار ہوں گےo

46. There will be a barrier between them (i.e. Paradise and Hell). And on the Heights (of that barrier) will be some people who will recognise each of them by their marks. They will call out to the people of Paradise: ‘Peace be upon you!’ They will not have entered it, though they would be eagerly hoping so.

46. And between both (of them, the inmates of Paradise and Hell) there is a barrier (i.e., ramparts or heights), and on the A‘raf (the Heights), there will be men who will recognize all by their features. And they will call out to the people of Paradise: ‘Peace be upon you.’ They (the people of the A‘raf [the Heights]) will not have entered Paradise (themselves as yet) but will be aspiring (to that).

46. Wabaynahuma hijabun waAAala alaAArafi rijalun yaAArifoona kullan biseemahum wanadaw ashaba aljannati an salamun AAalaykum lam yadkhulooha wahum yatmaAAoona

46. Og mellom dem (beboerne av paradiset og helvete) er det et slør (en voll), og på den vollen vil det være noen menn som vil gjenkjenne alle ved deres kjennetegn. Og de vil rope til paradisets beboere: «Fred være med dere!» De (vollens folk) har ikke gått inn i paradiset (selv ennå), men de vil ha forhåpning (om å gjøre det).

46. और (उन) दोनों (यानी जन्नतियों और दोज़ख़ियों) के दर्मियान एक हिजाब (यानी फसील) है और आ’राफ (यानी उसी फसील) पर कुछ मर्द होंगे जो सब को उनकी निशानियों से पहचान लेंगे। और वोह अहले जन्नत को पुकार कर कहेंगे कि तुम पर सलामती हो, वोह (अहले आ’राफ खु़द अभी) जन्नत में दाख़िल नहीं हुए होंगे हालांकि वोह (उसके) उम्मीदवार होंगे।

৪৬. আর (জান্নাতী ও জাহান্নামী) উভয়দলের মাঝে একটি পর্দা (অর্থাৎ প্রাচীর) রয়েছে। আর আ’রাফের (অর্থাৎ এ প্রাচীরের) উপর কিছু পুরুষ থাকবে যারা সবাইকে তাদের চিহ্নের মাধ্যমে চিনবে এবং জান্নাতের অধিবাসীদের ডেকে বলবে, ‘তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক’। সে সকল (আ’রাফবাসীরা স্বয়ং এখনো) জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করেনি, তবে তারা (এর) বাসনা করবে।
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 46)

وَ اِذَا صُرِفَتۡ اَبۡصَارُہُمۡ تِلۡقَآءَ اَصۡحٰبِ النَّارِ ۙ قَالُوۡا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجۡعَلۡنَا مَعَ الۡقَوۡمِ الظّٰلِمِیۡنَ ﴿٪۴۷﴾

47. اور جب ان کی نگاہیں دوزخ والوں کی طرف پھیری جائیں گی تو وہ کہیں گے: اے ہمارے ربّ! ہمیں ظالم گروہ کے ساتھ (جمع) نہ کرo

47. When their eyes will be turned towards the inmates of the Fire, they will say: ‘Our Lord, do not place us among the wrongdoing people.’

47. And when their eyes will be turned towards the inmates of Hell, they will say: ‘O our Lord, (join) us not (together) with the unjust people.’

47. Waitha surifat absaruhum tilqaa ashabi alnnari qaloo rabbana la tajAAalna maAAa alqawmi alththalimeena

47. Og når blikket deres snus mot helvetes beboere, vil de si: «Herren vår! Samle oss ikke sammen med det ondsinnede folk!»

47. और जब उनकी निगाहें दोज़ख़ वालों की तरफ फेरी जाएंगी तो वोह कहेंगे: ऐ हमारे रब! हमें ज़ालिम गिरोह के साथ (जमा’) न कर।

৪৭. আর যখন তাদের দৃষ্টিসমূহ দোযখীদের দিকে ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে, তখন তারা বলবে, ‘হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমাদেরকে যালিম সম্প্রদায়ের সাথে (একত্রিত) করো না’।
(al-A‘raf, 7 : 47)
