Surah al-Qamar Ayat 24 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever-Merciful

فَقَالُوۡۤا اَبَشَرًا مِّنَّا وَاحِدًا نَّتَّبِعُہٗۤ ۙ اِنَّاۤ اِذًا لَّفِیۡ ضَلٰلٍ وَّ سُعُرٍ ﴿۲۴﴾

24. پس وہ کہنے لگے: کیا ایک بشر جو ہم ہی میں سے ہے، ہم اس کی پیروی کریں، تب تو ہم یقیناً گمراہی اور دیوانگی میں ہوں گےo

24. They said: ‘Are we to follow a single human being from among us? Then, we would certainly be in error and madness.

24. So they said: 'Are we to follow a human being who is one of us? Then we shall certainly run into error and insanity.

24. Faqaloo abasharan minna wahidan nattabiAAuhu inna ithan lafee dalalin wasuAAurin

24. De sa: «Et menneske som er fra vår egen midte, skal vi følge ham? Da ville vi visselig ha vært i villfarelse og besettelse.

24. पस वोह कहने लगे: क्या एक बशर जो हम ही में से है, हम उसकी पैरवी करें, तब तो हम यक़ीनन गुमराही और दीवानगी में होंगे।

২৪. অতঃপর তারা বলেছিল, ‘যে আমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে একজন মানুষ, আমরা কি তাঁরই অনুসরণ করবো? তাহলে তো আমরা অবশ্যই গোমরাহী ও উন্মত্ততায় পতিত হবো।
(al-Qamar, 54 : 24)
