Surah ash-Shu‘ara’ Ayat 42 with English Translation

اللہ کے نام سے شروع جو نہایت مہربان ہمیشہ رحم فرمانے والا ہے

قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَ اِنَّکُمۡ اِذًا لَّمِنَ الۡمُقَرَّبِیۡنَ ﴿۴۲﴾

42. (فرعون نے) کہا: ہاں بیشک تم اسی وقت (اجرت والوں کی بجائے میرے) قربت والوں میں شامل ہو جاؤ گے (اور قربت کا درجہ اُجرت سے کہیں بلند ہے)o

42. He (Pharaoh) said: ‘Of course! Then indeed you shall be among those near (to me, by entering my inner court).’

42. (Pharaoh) said: ‘Yes indeed! (Instead of the rewarded ones,) you will straight away join (my) closer circle (and intimate relationship is far higher in grade than reward).’

42. Qala naAAam wainnakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena

42. Farao sa: «Ja! Sannelig, dere vil der og da (istedenfor å være de belønnede) bli av mine nærstående (og det å stå nær er langt større enn å bli belønnet)!»

42. (फिरऔन ने) कहा: हां बेशक तुम उसी वक़्त (उजरत वालों की बजाए मेरी) क़ुर्बत वालों में शामिल हो जाओगे (और क़ुर्बत का दर्जा उजरत से कहीं बलन्द है) ।

৪২. (ফেরাউন) বললো, ‘হ্যাঁ, অবশ্যই তোমরা তখন (পুরস্কার প্রাপ্তদের স্থলে আমার) ঘনিষ্ঠ জনদের মধ্যে গণ্য হবে।’
