اَلزَّانِیَۃُ وَ الزَّانِیۡ فَاجۡلِدُوۡا کُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنۡہُمَا مِائَۃَ جَلۡدَۃٍ ۪ وَّ لَا تَاۡخُذۡکُمۡ بِہِمَا رَاۡفَۃٌ فِیۡ دِیۡنِ اللّٰہِ اِنۡ کُنۡتُمۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَ الۡیَوۡمِ الۡاٰخِرِ ۚ وَ لۡیَشۡہَدۡ عَذَابَہُمَا طَآئِفَۃٌ مِّنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۲﴾

2. بدکار عورت اور بدکار مرد (اگر غیر شادی شدہ ہوں) تو ان دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کو (شرائطِ حد کے ساتھ جرمِ زنا کے ثابت ہو جانے پر) سو (سو) کوڑے مارو (جبکہ شادی شدہ مرد و عورت کی بدکاری پر سزا رجم ہے اور یہ سزائے موت ہے) اور تمہیں ان دونوں پر اللہ کے دین (کے حکم کے اجراء) میں ذرا ترس نہیں آنا چاہئے اگر تم اللہ پر اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتے ہو، اور چاہئے کہ ان دونوں کی سزا (کے موقع) پر مسلمانوں کی (ایک اچھی خاصی) جماعت موجود ہوo

2. Whip a hundred lashes each, the (unmarried) adulteress and the adulterer (on validation of adultery in accordance with the conditions of the statutory [hadd] punishment. If married, then both are to be stoned to death). And you should not feel even the slightest pity in Allah’s Din (Religion) for either of them (in executing the command), if you have faith in Allah and the Last Day. And a (sizeable) party of Muslims should be present on (the occasion of) award of punishment to both of them.

اَلزَّانِیۡ لَا یَنۡکِحُ اِلَّا زَانِیَۃً اَوۡ مُشۡرِکَۃً ۫ وَّ الزَّانِیَۃُ لَا یَنۡکِحُہَاۤ اِلَّا زَانٍ اَوۡ مُشۡرِکٌ ۚ وَ حُرِّمَ ذٰلِکَ عَلَی الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۳﴾

3. بدکار مرد سوائے بدکار عورت یا مشرک عورت کے (کسی پاکیزہ عورت سے) نکاح (کرنا پسند) نہیں کرتا اور بدکار عورت سے (بھی) سوائے بدکار مرد یا مشرک کے کوئی (صالح شخص) نکاح (کرنا پسند) نہیں کرتا، اور یہ (فعلِ زنا) مسلمانوں پر حرام کر دیا گیا ہےo

3. An adulterer does not (like to) marry (a chaste and virtuous woman) but only an adulteress or a polytheist, and no (pious man likes to) marry an adulteress (too) but only an adulterer or a polytheist. And this act (i.e., adultery) has been forbidden to the Muslims.
