14. (اے مشرکو!) اگر تم انہیں پکارو تو وہ (بت ہیں) تمہاری پکار نہیں سُن سکتے اور اگر (بالفرض) وہ سُن لیں تو تمہیں جواب نہیں دے سکتے، اور قیامت کے دن وہ تمہارے شِرک کا بالکل انکار کر دیں گے، اور تجھے خدائے باخبر جیسا کوئی خبردار نہ کرے گاo

14. (O polytheists!) If you call upon them, they cannot hear your call. And if they were to hear, they could not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will deny your ascribing partners to Allah. And no one can inform you like the One Who is All-Aware.

14. (O polytheists!) If you call upon them (the idols), they cannot hear your call. But if (supposing) they (the idols) hear, they cannot give you an answer. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will downright deny your setting up of partners with Allah. And none will make you aware like Allah, the Well Aware.

14. In tadAAoohum la yasmaAAoo duAAaakum walaw samiAAoo ma istajaboo lakum wayawma alqiyamati yakfuroona bishirkikum wala yunabbioka mithlu khabeerin

14. (Å, dere flergudsdyrkere!) Hvis dere anroper dem, så kan de (avgudsstatuene) ikke høre deres anrop, og hvis de (noen gang) skulle klare å høre (hvis det umulige hadde skjedd), kunne de ikke ha svart dere. Og på oppstandelsens dag vil de fornekte flerguderiet deres helt. Og ingen vil kunne underrette deg som den vel Underrettede Herren.

14. (ऐ मुश्रिको!) अगर तुम उन्हें पुकारो तो वोह (बुत हैं) तुम्हारी पुकार नहीं सुन सकते और अगर (बिल फर्ज़) वोह सुन लें तो तुम्हें जवाब नहीं दे सकते, और क़ियामत के दिन वोह तुम्हारे शिर्क का बिल्कुल इन्कार कर देंगे, और तुझे खुदाए बा ख़बर जैसा कोई ख़बरदार न करेगा।

১৪. (হে মুশরিকেরা!) যদি তোমরা তাদেরকে ডাকো, তারা (এসব মূর্তি) তোমাদের ডাক শুনে না; আর যদি (ধরে নেয়া হয়) তারা শুনে, তবে তোমাদের ডাকে সাড়া দিতে পারে না। আর কিয়ামতের দিন তোমাদের অংশীদার করাকে তারা সম্পূর্ণরূপে অস্বীকার করবে। আর তোমাকে সর্বজ্ঞ আল্লাহ্‌র ন্যায় আর কেউ অবহিত করবেন না।

إن تدعوهم لا يسمعوا دعاءكم ولو سمعوا ما استجابوا لكم ويوم القيامة يكفرون بشرككم ولا ينبئك مثل خبير
