فَعَتَوۡا عَنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّہِمۡ فَاَخَذَتۡہُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ وَ ہُمۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾

44. تو انہوں نے اپنے رب کے حکم سے سرکشی کی، پس انہیں ہولناک کڑک نے آن لیا اور وہ دیکھتے ہی رہ گئےo

44. Still, they revolted against the command of their Lord. So, a horrifying blast overtook them while they were looking on (helplessly).

44. But they disobeyed the command of their Lord. So a horrifying thunder seized them, and they could only stare at it stunned.

44. FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathathumu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona

44. Men de viste oppsetsighet mot sin Herres befaling, så de ble tatt fatt av den grufulle tordenen, mens de stod og så (det hende).

44. तो उन्होंने अपने रब के हुक्म से सर्कशी की, पस उन्हें हौलनाक कड़क ने आन लिया और वोह देखते ही रह गए।

৪৪. অতঃপর তারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের নির্দেশের ব্যাপারে সীমালঙ্ঘন করলো; ফলে তাদেরকে এসে গ্রাস করলো ভয়ানক এক বজ্রধ্বনি, আর তারা স্তম্ভিত হয়ে তা দেখছিল।
(الذَّارِيَات، 51 : 44)
