اَوَ لَمۡ یَہۡدِ لِلَّذِیۡنَ یَرِثُوۡنَ الۡاَرۡضَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ اَہۡلِہَاۤ اَنۡ لَّوۡ نَشَآءُ اَصَبۡنٰہُمۡ بِذُنُوۡبِہِمۡ ۚ وَ نَطۡبَعُ عَلٰی قُلُوۡبِہِمۡ فَہُمۡ لَا یَسۡمَعُوۡنَ ﴿۱۰۰﴾
100. کیا (یہ بات بھی) ان لوگوں کو (شعور و) ہدایت نہیں دیتی جو (ایک زمانے میں) زمین پر رہنے والوں (کی ہلاکت) کے بعد (خود) زمین کے وارث بن رہے ہیں کہ اگر ہم چاہیں تو ان کے گناہوں کے باعث انہیں (بھی) سزا دیں، اور ہم ان کے دلوں پر (ان کی بداَعمالیوں کی وجہ سے) مُہر لگا دیں گے سو وہ (حق کو) سن (سمجھ) بھی نہیں سکیں گےo
100. Does it not serve as guidance to those who inherited the earth after (the destruction of) its (former) inhabitants that—had We willed, We could have punished them (too) for their sins and set a seal on their hearts so that they would not hear (the truth)?
100. Does (this also) not guide and (enlighten) those who have inherited the earth (themselves) after (the destruction of) those (one time) dwelling in the earth that if We desire, We may punish them (as well) for their sins, and We shall seal their hearts (due to their evil behaviour), so they will be unable to hear (and understand the truth)?
100. Awalam yahdi lillatheena yarithoona alarda min baAAdi ahliha an law nashao asabnahum bithunoobihim wanatbaAAu AAala quloobihim fahum la yasmaAAoona
100. Gir ikke dette (engang heller) veiledning (og forstand) til dem som arver jorden etter (tilintetgjørelsen av) dens folk som bodde på den (i en tid), at Vi hvis Vi ville, kunne ha straffet dem (også) for syndene deres? Men Vi vil sette segl over deres hjerte, så de ikke engang kan høre (og begripe sannheten).
100. क्या (ये बात भी) उन लोगों को (शुऊरो) हिदायत नहीं देती जो (एक ज़माने में) ज़मीन पर रहने वालों (की हलाकत) के बाद (खुद) ज़मीन के वारिस बन रहे हैं कि अगर हम चाहें तो उनके गुनाहों के बाइस उन्हें (भी) सज़ा दें और हम उनके दिलों पर (उनकी बद आमालियों की वजह से) मुहर लगा देंगे सो वोह (हक़्क़ को) सुन (समझ) भी नहीं सकेंगे।
১০০. তবে কি (এ বিষয়টিও) এসব লোকদেরকে (চেতনা জাগ্রত ও) হেদায়াত দান করে না, যারা পৃথিবীর (এককালের) অধিবাসীদের (ধ্বংসের) পর উত্তরাধিকারী হয়; যদি আমরা চাই তবে, তাদের পাপের কারণে তাদেরকে(ও) শাস্তি দেবো এবং (মন্দ আমলের কারণে) আমরা তাদের অন্তরসমূহকে মোহরাঙ্কিত করে দেবো, সুতরাং তারা (সত্য) শুনতে (এবং অনুধাবনও করতে) পারবে না।
أولم يهد للذين يرثون الأرض من بعد أهلها أن لو نشاء أصبناهم بذنوبهم ونطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يسمعون
