29. (یہ بیان اِس لئے ہے) کہ اہلِ کتاب جان لیں کہ وہ اللہ کے فضل پر کچھ قدرت نہیں رکھتے اور (یہ) کہ سارا فضل اللہ ہی کے دستِ قدرت میں ہے وہ جِسے چاہتا ہے عطا فرماتا ہے، اور اللہ فضل والا عظمت والا ہےo

29. So that the People of the Book may know that they have no power over anything of Allah’s grace and that (all) grace is in Allah’s Hand. He grants it to whomever He pleases. And Allah is the Possessor of Tremendous Grace.

29. (The purpose of this exposition is) that the People of the Book may know that they have no control over Allah’s bounty, and that the entire bounty is in the Mighty Hand of Allah alone. He gives it to whom He likes, and Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty, Most Great.

29. Lialla yaAAlama ahlu alkitabi alla yaqdiroona AAala shayin min fadli Allahi waanna alfadla biyadi Allahi yuteehi man yashao waAllahu thoo alfadli alAAatheemi

29. (Denne forkynnelsen er) for at skriftens folk skal vite at de ikke har noen makt over Allahs velvilje, og at all velvilje hviler i Allahs allmakts hånd; Han gir den til hvem Han enn vil. Allah er Herren over den uendelige, veldige velviljen.

29. (ये बयान इसलिए है) कि अह्‌ले किताब जान लें कि वोह अल्लाह के फज़्ल पर कुछ क़ुदरत नहीं रखते और (ये) कि सारा फज़्ल अल्लाह ही के दस्ते क़ुदरत में है वोह जिसे चाहता है अ़ता फरमाता है, और अल्लाह अ़ज़ीम फज़्ल वाला है।

২৯. (এ বর্ণনা এজন্যে যে,) আহলে কিতাবগণ যেন জানতে পারে যে, তারা আল্লাহ্‌র অনুগ্রহের উপর কোনো ক্ষমতা রাখে না এবং (এ) যে, আল্লাহ্‌র কুদরতী হাতেই সকল অনুগ্রহ, তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা তা দান করেন। আর আল্লাহ্ অনুগ্রহশীল, মহান।

لئلا يعلم أهل الكتاب ألا يقدرون على شيء من فضل الله وأن الفضل بيد الله يؤتيه من يشاء والله ذو الفضل العظيم
