وَ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ کُنَّا نَسۡمَعُ اَوۡ نَعۡقِلُ مَا کُنَّا فِیۡۤ اَصۡحٰبِ السَّعِیۡرِ ﴿۱۰﴾

10. اور کہیں گے: اگر ہم (حق کو) سنتے یا سمجھتے ہوتے تو ہم (آج) اہلِ جہنم میں (شامل) نہ ہوتےo

10. And they will say: ‘If only we had listened (to the warner) or used reason (to understand the truth), we would not be among the inmates of the Blaze.’

10. And they will say: ‘Had we listened to or understood (the truth), we would not have been (put) amongst the inmates of Hell (Today).’

10. Waqaloo law kunna nasmaAAu aw naAAqilu ma kunna fee ashabi alssaAAeeri

10. Og de vil si: «Hvis vi hadde hørt eller forstått (sannheten), ville vi ikke ha vært (inkludert) blant det flammende helvetes folk (i dag).»

10. और कहेंगे: अगर हम (हक़्क़ को) सुनते या समझते होते तो हम (आज) अहले जहन्नम में (शामिल) न होते।

১০. তারা আরো বলবে, ‘যদি আমরা (সত্য) শুনতাম অথবা বিবেক-বুদ্ধি প্রয়োগ করতাম, তবে আমরা জাহান্নামবাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম না’।
(الْمُلْک، 67 : 10)
