وَ اَنۡ لَّیۡسَ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ اِلَّا مَا سَعٰی ﴿ۙ۳۹﴾
39. اور یہ کہ انسان کو (عدل میں) وہی کچھ ملے گا جس کی اُس نے کوشش کی ہوگی (رہا فضل اس پر کسی کا حق نہیں وہ محض اللہ کی عطاء و رضا ہے جس پر جتنا چاہے کر دے)o
39. And that nothing belongs to human being (as his right) except what he strives for.*
As for Allah’s Grace, there are no limits. He can grant whatever He wills to whomever He pleases, as stated in Sura al-Nur, verse 38: “So that Allah may reward them for the best of what they have performed and give them more out of His grace. And Allah provides for whomever He pleases without any measure.”
39. And that man (according to justice) will get only that for which he strives. (As for bounty, no one has any right to it. That is merely Allah’s bestowal and pleasure, granting as much as He wills to whom He pleases.)
39. Waan laysa lilinsani illa ma saAAa
39. og at mennesket (ifølge rettferdighet) kun vil få for det han strevde for (men når det gjelder velviljen, har ingen rett til den, da den kun er foræring og velbehag fra Allah, Han skjenker den til hvem Han enn vil, og hvor mye Han vil),
39. और ये कि इंसान को (अ़द्ल में) वोही कुछ मिलेगा जिसकी उसने कोशिश की होगी (रहा फज़्ल उस पर किसी का हक़्क़ नहीं वोह महज़ अल्लाह की अ़ताओ रज़ा है जिस पर जितना चाहे कर दे) ।
৩৯. আর এই যে, মানুষের (ন্যায়সংগত) তা-ই মিলবে যার চেষ্টা সে করবে। (দানের ব্যাপারে কারো অধিকার নেই, তা কেবল আল্লাহ্র দয়া ও সন্তুষ্টি, যাকে যে পরিমাণ চান তিনি দান করেন।)
وأن ليس للإنسان إلا ما سعى
