لِلَّذِیۡنَ اسۡتَجَابُوۡا لِرَبِّہِمُ الۡحُسۡنٰی ؕؔ وَ الَّذِیۡنَ لَمۡ یَسۡتَجِیۡبُوۡا لَہٗ لَوۡ اَنَّ لَہُمۡ مَّا فِی الۡاَرۡضِ جَمِیۡعًا وَّ مِثۡلَہٗ مَعَہٗ لَافۡتَدَوۡا بِہٖ ؕ اُولٰٓئِکَ لَہُمۡ سُوۡٓءُ الۡحِسَابِ ۬ۙ وَ مَاۡوٰىہُمۡ جَہَنَّمُ ؕ وَ بِئۡسَ الۡمِہَادُ ﴿٪۱۸﴾
18. ایسے لوگوں کے لئے جنہوں نے اپنے رب کا حکم قبول کیا بھلائی ہے، اور جنہوں نے اس کا حکم قبول نہیں کیا اگر ان کے پاس وہ سب کچھ ہو جو زمین میں ہے اور اس کے ساتھ اتنا اور بھی ہو سو وہ اسے (عذاب سے نجات کے لئے) فدیہ دے ڈالیں (تب بھی) انہی لوگوں کا حساب برا ہوگا، اور ان کا ٹھکانا دوزخ ہے، اور وہ نہایت برا ٹھکانا ہےo
18. For those who respond to their Lord is the excellent reward. But those who do not respond to Him, even if they possess all that is in the earth and as much of it besides, will surely offer to ransom themselves with it. For such, there shall be an evil reckoning, and their refuge shall be Hell. And it is a dreadful resting place.
18. For those who accept the command of their Lord, there is the excellent outcome. And those who reject His command, even though they possess all that is in the earth, and the like of it added to that, and they offer it as ransom (to be delivered from the torment, even then) they are the ones whose accountability will be horrible. And Hell is their abode, and that is a wretched abode.
18. Lillatheena istajaboo lirabbihimu alhusna waallatheena lam yastajeeboo lahu law anna lahum ma fee alardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadaw bihi olaika lahum sooo alhisabi wamawahum jahannamu wabisa almihadu
18. De som godtok sin Herres befaling, har det beste i vente. Og de som nektet å godta Hans befaling, hvis de skulle ha alt det som finnes på jorden, og like mye i tillegg til det også, og de ga det som løsepenger (for å berge seg fra pinen), ville deres oppgjør fortsatt være forferdelig og boligen deres helvete. Hvilken elendig bopel det er.
18. ऐसे लोगों के लिए जिन्होंने अपने रब का हुक्म क़बूल किया भलाई है, और जिन्होंने उसका हुक्म क़बूल नहीं किया अगर उनके पास वोह सब कुछ हो जो ज़मीन में है और उसके साथ उतना और भी हो सो वोह उसे (अ़ज़ाब से नजात के लिए) फिद्या दे डालें (तब भी) उन ही लोगों का हिसाब बुरा होगा, और उनका ठिकाना दोज़ख़ है और वोह निहायत बुरा ठिकाना हैं।
১৮. তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কল্যাণ যারা তাদের প্রতিপালকের নির্দেশ গ্রহণ করে। আর যারা তাঁর নির্দেশ অগ্রাহ্য করে, তাদের নিকট যদি পৃথিবীতে যা কিছু রয়েছে সমস্তই থাকে এবং এর সাথে সমপরিমাণ আরও থাকে, তারা এগুলোকে (শাস্তি থেকে বাঁচার জন্যে) প্রায়শ্চিত্ত হিসেবে দিয়ে দেয়, (তবুও) তাদের হিসাব হবে কঠোর। আর তাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম, এবং তা খুবই মন্দ ঠিকানা।
للذين استجابوا لربهم الحسنى والذين لم يستجيبوا له لو أن لهم ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه لافتدوا به أولـئك لهم سوء الحساب ومأواهم جهنم وبئس المهاد
