71. اور ان کی اہلیہ (سارہ پاس ہی) کھڑی تھیں تو وہ ہنس پڑیں، سو ہم نے ان (کی زوجہ) کو اسحاق (علیہ السلام) کی اور اسحاق (علیہ السلام) کے بعد یعقوب (علیہ السلام) کی بشارت دیo

71. His wife (Sara) was standing (nearby), and she laughed.* Then We gave her glad tidings of (the birth of) Ishaq (Isaac), and after Ishaq (Isaac), (glad tidings) of Ya‘qub (Jacob).

* Prophet Ibrahim’s wife Sara laughed out of joy after receiving assurance that the angel guests did not cause any threat to them. Her laughter may also denote her happiness when she received the news regarding the destruction of the sinful people of Lot.

71. And his wife (Sara) who was standing (beside him) laughed. So We conveyed to his (wife) the glad tidings of the birth of Ishaq (Isaac) and beyond Ishaq of Ya‘qub (Jacob).

71. Waimraatuhu qaimatun fadahikat fabashsharnaha biishaqa wamin warai ishaqa yaAAqooba

71. Og hustruen hans (Sara) stod like ved, og hun lo. Så ga Vi henne det gledelige budskapet om Isak og om Jakob etter Isak.

71. और उनकी अहलिया (सारह पास ही) खड़ी थीं तो वोह हंस पड़ीं, सो हमने उन (की ज़ौजा) को इस्हाक़ (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) की और इस्हाक़ (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) के बाद याक़ूब (अ़लैहिस्सलाम) की बिशारत दी।

৭১. আর তাঁর স্ত্রী (সারাহ্ নিকটেই) দন্ডায়মান ছিলেন, তিনি হেসে দিলেন, আর আমরা তাঁকে (অর্থাৎ তাঁর স্ত্রীকে) ইসহাক (আলাইহিস সালাম) এবং ইসহাক (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর পর ইয়াকূব (আলাইহিস সালাম)-এঁর সুসংবাদ দিলাম।

وامرأته قآئمة فضحكت فبشرناها بإسحق ومن وراء إسحق يعقوب
